All systems are go!
It has been a long break between posts but finally I have everything sorted. Melbourne is fantastic, my new job is amazing as is my new house, and all my furniture and hardware has arrived from New Zealand… so I hate to admit to my NZ friends but life is pretty good in Australia.
Well to start off things off B.I.M., I.P.D… Are making a real impact on the traditional workflows in the architecture community, hence I have started to really take head of recent articles. The following links are several of the more interesting recent reads… well worth the time to review.
A case study on I.P.D. and the real benefits
Chris Needham is a very talented Revit consultant I have been working with recently whom has introduced me to a very cool piece of mind mapping software by mindjet .
I am really excited by this product, my to-do list is huge and growing by the day and I have always found it hard to layout all my goals, plans, projects… in a logical manner so that I can actually make steps forward to achieving my goals. I am also very much a visual person and this is the first product that I have used that is intuitive and makes sense of all the random projects I have on the go at one time.
Over the next couple of weeks I will be updating my Autodesk University tab and posting a new updated recording of my lecture and supporting notes including a Vray section, as I am not planning any international speaking engagements this year. And since I have had alot of requests to assist people in learning Vray/rendering techniques I will be creating a question/answer forum in my tutorial section.
So much to talk about, new service pack of Vray supporting linear workflows, great new products, training materials and applications… watch this space as I will be posting regularly from now on.
