V-Ray RealTime Interactive!
This is very exciting… the real time inteactive v-ray renderer will be available in a few weeks…
As soon as it is availble we will be downloading, testing and I will post more info then.
Who will win in the architectural visualisation arena..? will it be V-Ray, MentalRay (as incoporated into many Autodesk products) or some of the new physicallly based render engines like Maxwell or Fryrender?
What about web-based applications deployed over a cloud/cluster of remote servers..?
I believe it is between V-Ray and MentalRay. The physically based renders are great and can produce amazing renders but the time they currently take to produce these images is inhibitive. It simply takes longer to calulate physcially accurate lighting.
Lets hope Vray Interactive delivers as promised!
